AWANA CLUBS
The goal of AWANA Clubs is to reach boys and girls for Christ and to train them to serve Him. Our Awana Club meets on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm and includes children age 3 through the 6th grade during the school year (September - May)
Awana Cubbies
Our Awana Program consists of the following Clubs:
Cubbies
For children ages 3 and 4. This club is primarily for the children of Awana workers.
Sparks
For children enrolled in Kindergarten through the second grade.
Truth & Training
This club for boys and girls grades 3-6.
AWANA Club meetings are brimming with life-enriching experiences for young people! Trained leaders guide children through age-appropriate material. Clubbers learn that God is real, that He loves them, and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. They also learn how to apply the truths of the Bible to their daily lives.
The Awana Club night is divided into three segments that provide adventure from beginning to end:
Game Time
Every AWANA Club meeting includes a high-energy game time featuring individual and team competition. Game time unleashes kid's natural energy and enthusiasm.
Handbook Time
With a trained leader alongside to encourage and guide, clubbers develop a Bible-based view of how to know and serve God.
Council Time
The whole club gathers for a Bible message, singing, presentation of awards and announcements.
Annual Awana Grand Prix
Some of the yearly fun events of our AWANA Clubs include, The Awana Store, Birthday Night, Wild West Night, Silly Sock Night, Crazy Hat Night, AWANA Grand Prix and the Year-end Awards Night.
Our Awana Commander
Kevin Hafner and his wife, Paula, lead our Awana Clubs. They, along with the many fine workers who serve with them, invite you to involve your children in this wonderful program for boys and girls.
